Research and development in the Department is organized in wide extent area of materials and related processes including metals, polymers, ceramics and composites, along with basic studies on structure and property of materials, investigations and evaluations of appropriate synthesis and manufacturing processes, analysis and optimization of improving quality and applications. Thanks to the competent faculty members of the department collaborated with institutions in KMUTNB and other organizations domestic and international, tens of journal publications, books, innovations and patents as well as presentations in renowned academic conferences were continuously generated in recent years.
